Theatre & Drama

The word 'theatre' comes from the Greeks.
It means the 'seeing place.'
It is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation.
- Stella Adler

Drama is a wonderful vehicle with which we can use to understand and appreciate our world and relationships.

I have a strong interest in arts integration and use different modalities (visual arts, drama/music/movement) to engage student learning.  In addition to being a regular homeroom teacher, my previous after-school roles include working as Dance Director with the ES/MS/HS Dance Teams, as well as Director and Choreographer in ES/MS/HS musical productions with theatre programs.  I have also taught MYP Gr.9 & 10 Drama for a short duration.

I am also an artist with ISTA and work as an Ensemble Leader at various festivals, as well as an Artist in Residence.
